It was reduced over months of hard work.
My ministerial direction followed due process and was only made after MoF indicated money would come to DoJ from the centre in any budget, which it did.
Hence, no projected overspend atm...

@tbdukni @JohnMar90718642 @chhcalling Agree on need to pay PSNI and Prison Officers a decent wage: their salaries are based on recommendations of independent pay review bodies, which I accepted each year.
This year will depend on Chris' colleagues in Treasury where these decisions will be taken.
