@Steven_OConnor1 @BeattieDoug I already increased maximum sentences for some domestic and sexual offences. Preparatory work for a Sentencing Bill is also underway.
Actual sentences handed down are subject to guideline cases selected by the Judiciary.
Where sentencing is unduly lenient, PPS can appeal.
