@SPENCE_JOHN @nadhimzahawi @hmtreasury The Executive could do that quicker too. Westminster doesn't currently have the power - they'll need new legislation.
As someone who is on a good salary, we can probably manage without the £400: I'd rather see it going to those for whom £400 won't be enough, that's all.
