@BrianShannon123 The cycle lane is sadly already shared by buses which are generally wider than cars, and pollution in congestion is worse than in free-flowing traffic.
It was a temporary measure to ease congestion due to a public transport strike, as walking/cycling isn't an option for many.1/2
