The Proposed Regulation of the European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA) should include all fishing vessels.
I presented my opinion to the PECH Committee on this proposal, to which I was recently appointed. I argued for greater cooperation between the European Maritime Safety Agency and other agencies and Member States.

I was one of the guest speakers at the Portugal Energy Conference and I emphasised the importance of green hydrogen.

In September '22, I spoke out against the idea of taxing excess profits because the significant excess gain is in the state, and those gain taxes would still be piped to consumers. Fortunately, as a negotiator of the #EMD by the EPP, I prevented a cap on revenues from renewable.
