Also, so I don’t have to repeat myself again and again, I have screenshots of racist social media posts from local protesters, and these have been sent to relevant authorities. My family are all rural Ireland (I was raised in inner city Dublin, stayed with grandparents in Galway as a child, and moved to Mayo when I was 16.) I have vast lived experiences. I have many male and female friends from countries far and wide, including immigrants, asylum seekers and refugees, living here in Ireland, some of whom are the kindest people you could ever meet. I don’t virtue signal, I say it as I see it. #SayNoToHate
