Además, la Comisión prevé que la inflación subyacente se mantenga elevada, en un 3,9% en 2022 y un 2,7% en 2023.
Con estos números parece inevitable que el Banco Central Europeo se vea obligado a subir los tipos de interés, lo que nos puede poner en un aprieto ante los mercados.
Es esencial que el Gobierno empiece a trabajar por la sostenibilidad de las finanzas públicas.
De lo contrario, podríamos sufrir de nuevo una repentina falta de financiación por los mercados, que forzaría al Gobierno a repetir los duros recortes de Zapatero en mayo de 2010.
Como consecuencia, el déficit estructural aumentará casi un punto hasta el -4,3% al cierre del año que viene.
Este número refleja un deterioro sistémico de las finanzas públicas. Estaremos en el ojo de mira de la Comisión cuando vuelvan a aplicarse las reglas fiscales.
La deuda explícita es elevada, pero hay que sumar la deuda "implícita" debida a las promesas hechas en pensiones sin poner recursos para ellas.
El Gobierno ha endeudado a los jóvenes: la reforma de las pensiones puede costarnos hasta 11.000 millones adicionales (solo en 2023).
