With record energy prices, and record energy exports, Russia is earning an enormous amount of hard cash. So much that the Ruble is STRONGER than before the war, today 71 ruble per USD versus 76.

Hoy, en crecimiento.
España estancada: 0.3% de crecimiento trimestral
Portugal, enorme crecimiento: 2.6% desde el trimestre anterior
Esta mañana he analizado en @EspejoPublico la difícil situación económica que atraviesa España: tenemos la inflación disparada, pero no crecemos.
Durante casi dos décadas, hemos afrontado el estancamiento con más deuda, sin reformas. Se acaba el camino para dar patadas adelante.
Defina estanflación:
- Inflación: 8.4%
- Crecimiento trimestral: 0.3%

Europa está procesando cantidades record de Gas natural licuado.
A este ritmo podemos eliminar, solo con el LNG, casi 2/3 del gas ruso.

Estos años, en vez de resolver nuestros problemas nos hemos endeudándo. La consecuencia es que nuestra economía sigue funcionando mal: más inflación, menos crecimiento que la UE. Ojalá estos tiempos difíciles abran la puerta a un momento realmente reformista.

2. La inflación diferencial es pérdida de competitividad. Por primera vez desde 2014, entramos en déficit por cuenta corriente y por tanto “desahorramos”: nos endeudamos. Obviamente, los precios de la energía son la clave principal de esta repentina desaparición del superavit.
Efectivamente, entre 2020 y 201 hay fuerte caída de márgenes, consistents con la figura anterior. 4 puntos es mucho- para muchas empresas supondrá o cerrar, o conseguir pasar los precios al consumidor final. Y recordemos que muchas son empresas que vienen exhaustas del COVID.
