Yes! Mijn voorstel om geoblocking van streaming te verbieden is aangenomen door de interne markt commissie van het Europees Parlement!

🚨 Good news for anyone (myself included!) who wants to stream Parlement, the French tv series on the European Parliament! But who can't, as the EU-funded series is not available in Brussels:
The IMCO Committee just voted to END the geo-blocking of streaming of series and films!

As thousands of innocent people are being murdered, social media platforms profit by allowing disinformation to be spread, further fuelling fear, confusion and hate.
We cannot rely on X or TikTok to demonetise disinformation. The EU needs to act when tech companies do not.

In Italië hebben de Christendemocraten voorgesteld om "LGBTQIA+-propaganda" (lees: LGBTQIA+-content) te verbieden op de publieke omroep.
Met de LGBTI-intergroup hebben we een debat aangevraagd om zo snel mogelijk actie van de EU Commissie te kunnen eisen.
