Opened 🇪🇪🇳🇴 energy seminar. We must reduce & act to cut dependence on Russian energy.
It also gives an extra push to phase out fossil fuels & reach climate neutrality. Glad our companies are building new ties & learning from each other to achieve it.

My discussion w/ Norway’s PM @jonasgahrstore focused on how to maximise our help to #Ukraine & stop Putin’s killing machine.
We decided to establish 🇪🇪🇳🇴 working group to take our energy cooperation to next level.
Invited PM Støre to visit Estonia.
Had a good discussion with the researchers of @IFS_Oslo. I emphasised that peace at any cost is just a pause. Our main focus today must be on how to stop Russia’s aggression & help Ukraine free itself from occupying forces & restore its territorial integrity.
During meeting with 🇳🇴 Parliament's Foreign & Defence Committee, I stressed we must ensure to stop Putin & there will be no next. If we fail, the question would be if @NATO's next. NATO’s deterrence has worked and to keep it so – must go the extra mile, adapt our defence posture.
Met with the President of Norwegian 🇳🇴 Parliament @MasudGh today. Discussed what more can we do to help Ukraine & Ukrainian war refugees. Norway has had experiences in accommodating refugees that we in Estonia could learn from as we have received a vast number of 🇺🇦refugees.
🇪🇪 and 🇬🇧 are set to create the European HQ of #DIANA, @NATO's defence innovation accelerator. #Estonia will also host a NATO startup accelerator.
This will:
➡️support deep tech defence companies;
➡️link up innovation sites;
➡️strengthen the transatlantic innovation community.
