The only solution Labour seems to have – from Net Zero or rebooting industry to fixing the university system – is borrowing more and more. And that pile of debt would drive the British economy into the ground.

We have aircraft carriers & we need to use them. Inter service rivalry needs to end. The MoD must be made fit for purpose- it is not. Britain primarily needs a navy and an airforce. Britain must have a defence Indy in depth.

RT by @john4brexit: This one is just pathetic... 🙄

The 25% fall in Irish imports from GB in November (just one month's data) was concentrated in just one category ('mineral fuels, lubricants and related materials'), where prices have slumped (these are 'value' numbers, not 'volumes').

Similarly, the 50% jump in imports from NI (again, just one month's data) was more than accounted for by just one category, 'chemicals and related products', which is relatively erratic.

Next to nothing to do with !

What you need for starters are the correct policies Mr Levido. Then you can look at leadership.

Will the Conservatives go into the long night of political oblivion or will they address the lack of leadership direction? Growth from: deregulation, free trade, tax cuts, home grown low cost energy, control of borders. It’s not rocket science.

RT by @john4brexit: I see my old mates at @CapEconomics are the latest to predict that UK will fall below the 2% target in April.

More interestingly, they also think this would mean that inflation in the is lower than in the US and area for the first time in two years... (1/2)

RT by @john4brexit: FFS!!

The country is deeply shocked at the truly ghastly treatment meted out to sub postmasters across the country.

If ever there was an episode that captured the disdain that the UK's political and corporate "establishment" has for the hard-working masses, this is it.

The fact that former Post Office Minister @EdwardJDavey - the leader of a party that is supposed to be "nice" - can't bring himself to say "sorry", at such a crucial moment in our national politics, speaks volumes.

This kind of rhetorical gamesmanship is totally moronic - a triumph of clever-clever "strategy" over common decency - the kind of behaviour which explains why so many millions of voters now actively disdain our political and media class.
