It beggars belief that so many of the middle-class British Remainers and Rejoiners, who will help propel Labour to victory this year, are still so unfathomably ignorant about the true state of Europe’s economy and society.

Little room for big tax cuts, Hunt tells Tories- SEEMS THE GOVERNMENT are caught in a Treasury “group think” trap. Structural weaknesses in the economy include lack of productivity and economic growth.

RT by @john4brexit: FYI, 's economy stagnated in the second half of last year, with no growth in either the third or fourth quarters, though strong first half meant still up 0.9% in 2023 as a whole... 👇

(Digging deeper, French GDP did actually contract in both quarters, but only by 0.03% in Q3 and 0.02% in Q4 - even I'm not going to call that a ! 🤓)

Labour rows back once more on £28bn green pledge- Let’s hope they stick to their change of heart. Green and growth are incompatible.

The last dregs of project fear - risible. What would make a great post Brexit plus for consumers & the cost of living, is for government to remove tariffs on non eu food imports. Better year round quality at lower prices. Stop protecting eu producers at the expense, most of all, of the poorest. Let’s hear Labour commit to this!

How can Germany deploy a tank battalion without any tanks?- Germany the leader of the eu is failing badly- ‘The army that I am allowed to lead is more or less empty,’ admitted Lieutenant General Alfons Mais, the head of the Bundeswehr, in 2022.

RT by @john4brexit: So the Post Office hired a company of forensic accountants called Second Sight to discover if there were glitches and bugs in the Horizon IT system.
They discovered there were.
So what did the committee ( including civil servants representing the government) do about it?
They fired them- that’s what they did.
All of this is disclosed in a report, which has been hanging around for several years but has now been unredacted. That means stuff which will nail Paula Vennells and colleagues can now be seen.
I didn’t this scandal could get more murky. It just has.

RT by @john4brexit: This is a big deal - the UK is now making 1m-plus cars and vans a year for the first time since the pandemic.

A rapid recovery, given that we dipped to around 775,000 per annum due to lockdown.

Most of these UK-built automotives are made by foreign-owned firms. But at least the plants involved are employing UK-based workers, making good money, creating a decent living for themselves and their families, while paying tax in this country too.

The UK remains a top-ten global manufacturer - and the sector provides countless relatively well-paid jobs in parts of the country that desperately needs them, while generating big export revenues too.

We need to celebrate and back UK manufacturing !!

British centre-Right voters want competent leadership, but above all radical change. They are desperate for politicians who break the mould, (It isn’t Mr Starmer) who defy the establishment. They are extremely angry at the state of Britain.
