RT by @john4brexit: FYI, here's an updated chart comparing #UK and #euro area #GDP (excluding Ireland's dodgy data) since 2010.

The two major breaks over this period were i) the eurozone debt crisis (which shifted the region to a lower path) and ii) Covid (which briefly closed the gap, before the UK rebounded strongly again).

(No significant impact from #Brexit in these numbers, but I've marked the date of the referendum anyway.)
