The reason the @bankofengland raised its interest rates today is because the ‘Fed’ raised its rates yesterday by the same amount 0.5%.. thereby avoiding a hit on the £ !! @Iromg @TalkTV @GBNEWS @MichelleDewbs someone needs to explain this to @RachelReevesMP
