@Yossari99194539 @Strongarms12 @Telegraph The Grammar Schools as we know them were for boys & date back to the 19th Century .. there were scholarships & some paid fees ! The 1944 Education Act was key to the Girl’s Grammar Schools. They go back centuries. The history is fascinating (see wiki)
