This ⬇️❗️ --from the former (and only liberal democratic) minister of foreign affairs Russia has ever had, @andreivkozyrev.

I suspect he has a better understanding of Russia than the several EU heads of government banging on about "diplomatic solutions."
RT @andreivkozyrev: @biannagolodryga In Putin's regime view the Budapest Memorandum, like any other agreement, is just a trick to gain advantage. Oddly enough, some serious people in the West talk of a diplomatic…

Every time I come on an ad after reading yet another toxic, hateful tweet from the owner, I stop and think "would I really want to buy anything from any company that gives money to pay for these insults?"
RT @nytimes: Elon Musk publicly attacked Dr. Anthony Fauci and Yoel Roth, Twitter’s former head of trust and safety, over the weekend. His jabs may resonate with far-right audiences, but are likely to deter wary advertisers. t.co/mVsRh6CR5g

A rather depressing state of affairs in a scholarly discipline where researchers have taken to anonymity out of devotion to their field and fear of fashionable trends.

Horrific. A country that wants to join the EU is slowly poisoning a former president in prison on trumped up charges.

Putin wanted him killed. Now his own government in Georgia is doing it for him.

This is kind of funny. Obnoxiously using its veto to blackmail the EU and blocking aid to Ukraine, Orban discovers there are work-arounds.

The EU is not stupid. Nor are its "bureaucrats". I'd start worrying about other work-arounds, ones that would leave Hungary out in the cold

RT @EuroSandor: 1/7 Orbán had a bad week with signs of economic meltdown and miscalculations about the fight with the EU. The consequences could be far reaching.

Huh??? "International cooperation including with Russia (5)"

Solid analysis from @minna_alander. I should add that 2004-2009, Germany blocked *any* contingency planning for the Baltic States. None was allowed.

It isn't just Poland's PiS that distrusts Germany, @thorstenbenner. No hard right governments up here.

Russia really knows how get people to like them.
RT @Gerashchenko_en: Arman Shuraev, a public figure and professional journalist from Kazakhstan, replied to arrogant speech and threats of Russian ambassador in Kazakhstan, Borodavkin.

Russia is losing its influence among its neighbors and is rightly viewed as a threat.

Thread on the insanity of Russia’s assault on Bakhmut
RT @Tendar: Instead of trying to encircle Bakhmut and slowly taking it, the Russian High command seems to have decided to launch a frontal attack on the city itself, proving my suspicion that Putin wants the city as fast as possible even when this means highest rate of own casualties. 1/8
