Iceland was the first country to recognise Lithuania's independence in 1991. Icelanders were unafraid to stand with us against Russia, inspiring the world to follow suit.
Today is the anniversary of that brave decision, and every year we remember to say "Takk, Island!" 🇱🇹🇮🇸
