-my private opinion: EACOP reminds me of neo-colonialism because it’s exploitation of resources for the west without local value creation

EACOP is a pipeline to EXPORT raw material to the west! It is exactly what you are describing! Crude oil is raw material! If you construct EACOP, you just continue in the old tradition of no local value creation. If you #SupportEACOP, you support neo-colonialism. #StopEACOP

Also remarkable: AGAIN, the EACOP project is sold as something that would fight energy poverty. @AUWatch_ (which is NOT @_AfricanUnion ) does the same mistake: EACOP is for EXPORT, not for Ugandans or Tanzanians!
