@hawkins_carole @TraceyR64968698 @1jtonner @Jenny_1884 I’m not wholly certain what we are arguing about, but National Insurance, introduced 1906, was an insurance (really) and the 1946 Act specifically calls the payments a “benefit”. Government had the right to govern, you know?
