I live in the country and this car is booked on a ferry to France in 2 1/2 weeks' time. No leeway; no mechanism to fix it; not even going to Swansea to submit manually. Which would be cheaper than a 6 week hire of a car big enough for me and the dog, + getting Brittany Ferries 5/
