A decade later he was arrested for the crime of being gay.
Still today Turing's story is repeated all over the world - this is why we need Pride.

Only a few countries in the world offer gender-neutral passports. Germany became the first 🇪🇺 country to make use of the “X” category on passports in 2013.
Since then, other countries have moved steps forward towards non-binary gender recognition.

The "L" in LGTBI+ refers to “lesbian” and comes from the Greek island of Lesbos, where lyric poet Sappho wove her poetry portraying homosexual feelings.

“La Vie D’Adèle” is a film supported by @MEDIAprogEU about a teenager who falls in love with another woman while she tries to find herself.
The film won the Palme D’Or in @Festival_Cannes and is a demonstration of how to portray LGTBI themes on the big screen.
