During his visit in Uruguay, HR/VP @JosepBorrellF reaffirmed his commitment to progress in the signature of the EU-Mercosur agreement. "It would be an advantage for the two large regional blocs". #commonfuture

2) @JosepBorrellF also gave the opening speech at the 4th European Investment Forum in Montevideo, and visited the new port terminal and railway connection built by European companies with the Finnish paper mill UPM, the largest private investment in 🇺🇾Uruguay's history.
1) During his visit to 🇺🇾Uruguay, HR/VP @JosepBorrellF met with President of the Republic, @LuisLacallePou, Vice-President @beatrizargimon & FM Francisco Bustillo. Among others, they discussed issues such as the EU-Mercosur association agreement and Russian aggression in Ukraine.
