The “Sondervermögen” needs to reach the @bundeswehrInfo faster. The longer @OlafScholz waits, the less can actually be purchased as inflationary price increases & interest payments reduce the real purchasing power. At this point, only 60-70 billion euro remain in real terms.

We still witness how fundamental human - women's - rights are being violated all over the world. The Taliban's systematic repression of Afghan women and the violent crackdown on courageous Iranian women are two particularly outrageous examples.

Gender #equality is a central pillar of #justice & #freedom enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. 2023 marks its 75th anniversary. The EU will keep promoting gender equality in all dimensions of its work, also its foreign and security policy.

Mit dem "Windsor Abkommen" liegt ein neuer Kompromiss zum Nordirlandprotokoll auf dem Tisch, der alle Seiten zufriedenstellen & in den Beziehungen zwischen dem 🇬🇧 und der 🇪🇺 ein neues Kapitel aufschlagen soll.

If anything, the last year taught us that economic ties did not lead to a Russian rapprochement with the democratic West. This idea turned out to be an illusion. Diplomatic ties with 🇷🇺 remain at the bare minimum until Putin has fully withdrawn from the recognised territory of 🇺🇦
