⚓ Fantastic to be at iconic Belfast shipyard @HarlandWolffplc with @BWallaceMP to formally award the £1.6bn Fleet Solid Support Ships contract to Team Resolute - @BMT_Global, Navantia UK and Harland and Wolff.

👏 The £1.6 billion contract will create around 900 Belfast jobs.

A negotiated solution to the Protocol is clearly desired by all. Today I welcomed Foreign Sec @JamesCleverly to NI. Productive meeting in Belfast hearing how the Protocol’s issues impact on people & business. Best thing for NI is for their elected politicians to get back to work.
