I support the plan to build a 21st century European industry, but:
1. Flexibility in state aid must be temporary, it must end by 2025 as proposed. We should strengthen the market economy, not create addictions to public subsidies. (1/4)

2. We need to do more to protect the Single Market. Only 38% of industry is in 🇫🇷 & 🇩🇪, but 80% of all aid since the energy crisis goes to companies in those countries. (2/4)

4. The plan also fails to address the social aspect of the transition. The EU needs to think more about heavy industry, which today face high energy prices, emission restrictions and cheap foreign competition. This sector must be helped to change, not destroyed. (4/4)
