RT by @catherinerowett: I'm thinking of everyone affected by . So sorry to hear of homes flooded and people stranded in Suffolk and Norfolk.

In today I spoke to >@SuffolkFire who are doing great work.

Lots of locals asking - when will government take threat of climate change seriously?

RT by @catherinerowett: Commons' @TransportCttee agrees with us that the Government’s national roads policy is not compliant with net zero!

We have been calling for the NNNPS to be updated since March 2020, 3.5 years ago, as it wasn't net zero compliant! transportactionnetwork.org.uk/

RT by @catherinerowett: But we won’t change our behaviour, and Rishi Sunak will continue to increase our oil output, and neither Party is going to insulate our houses and reduce our footprint
What is worrying is the spectacular ignorance of our decisionmakers
The climate will destroy farming

RT by @catherinerowett: Now that Uxbridge looks like an anomaly, I wonder how many Tories are feeling a bit foolish at changing their entire national strategy based on it?

RT by @catherinerowett: Andy Cooper the delightful Conservative candidate in Tamworth sadly lost.😔
However he has a bright future in our party.
Especially with such a lovely & caring wife.
Her confidence in him was so heartwarming to see.
As this pre by election video shows:

Johnson's government wantonly worked with inadequate evidence in March 2020, even while experts were explaining what would happen.

R to @catherinerowett: I wonder if they've asked themselves why Tory voters stayed at home? When they'd been promised more pollution and traffic instead of a railway and quiet lanes? And they'd never seen more corruption in high places. And they'd had Nadine as their MP 🙄

Less than half the people voted for Labour.
More than half the people voted against the Conservatives.
Many will have voted for a party they thought might win, not what they wanted, because FPTP. Support for Labour isn't as strong as they think.

RT by @catherinerowett: It is a mark of how far govt (and indeed Labour party) policy has abandoned balance and international rules that you wld never hear a govt minister mention this requirement, even tho the situation in the Occupied Territories has only worsened since then, with settler violence etc
