@liambeadle Yes I don't understand why their ordering system takes weeks (when they say it's "in stock").

RT @NiranjanAjit: the us pushed back on a suggestion from poorer countries' to specify their ability to cut pollution depends on what richer countries do with money, tech and the remaining carbon budget 11/

RT @NiranjanAjit: norway watered down the language on cutting emissions, while saudi arabia, china, new zealand and the netherlands blocked efforts to specify that sucking loads of carbon out of the atmosphere is unproven and risky 5/

RT @NiranjanAjit: finland tried to say the root cause of climate change is fossil fuels, but saudi arabia pushed back, and the line didn't make it into the summary for policymakers (which is separate from the scientific report that can't be touched by governments) 3/

@johnredwood That's a DUP choice, nothing to do with the EU. Throwing away a gift is not the fault of the givers.

DUP are dead. They don't speak for the people of Northern Ireland.

@greenmattbfd Even sadder Matt when you look at the new shipping routes that have emerged post-Brexit

Larry for prime minister.
RT @Number10cat: “Boris Johnson has argued it was essential for his staff to have leaving drinks while insisting that you weren’t allowed to visit dying family or to attend their funerals. I can’t begin to comprehend the anger that you must justifiably feel and I am deeply sorry for you all”

RT @DavidRobjant: ANIMALS: intent seen in behaviour
HUMANS: intent seen in behaviour

BORIS JOHNSON: my intention to lie to you cannot be shown independently of my declaring such an intention to lie to you, so ya boo sucks to the committee.

More economically illiterate interest rate rises from the Bank of England. Why don't they advise the PM about what actually needs to be done? When inflation is caused by rising prices and a shortage of resources it won't help to take more properly earned money out of circulation.

A speedometer can be faulty, so someone might advise you not to believe the speedometer but to observe the road.
Johnson's case is different.
Seeing a party meant there was a party.
Everyone else was able to constrain their own actions to the rules Johnson himself had explained.
RT @BethRigby: Excoriating from Harman: “If I was going 100mph & I saw the speedometer saying 100mph, it’s be a bit odd, wouldn't it, if I said somebody assured me that I wasn't, cos it's …

If it was so hard to maintain social distancing & masks and stop people gathering for drinks in Downing St corridors, the workforce should have been sent home to work via Zoom. Or they could have moved into one of the many empty office blocks to give everyone a separate space.

RT @DistopianGirl: @RhonddaBryant HH was fabulous. She gave Johnson an off-ramp to correct his previous statements to the HoC & correct the record, but Johnson doubleddown with, NO! Does that shift things from reckless to intentional? Johnson may not have believed it was obvious then, but he can’t claim that now

RT @RhonddaBryant: He still hasn’t corrected the record. He admits that social distancing wasn’t observed. He even witnessed people passing round drinks. But he still won’t admit the rules were broken and correct the record. This flies in the face of reality.

@littlegreydog3 But so is the capital gains. And the dividends. And inheritance tax taxes money that was saved after tax, not on the basis of the wealth of the recipients but on the wealth of the dead person.

RT @GreenpeaceUK: A MASSIVE oil tanker carrying over 900,000 litres of TOXIC FUEL has sunk off the coast of the Philippines - TRASHING a precious marine ecosystem & WREAKING HAVOC with the lives of small scale fishermen

This is CLIMATE VANDALISM & the companies responsible must be held to account

@littlegreydog3 But the money they pay me was taxed when they received it, and taxed when the customer or donor received it, and so on. The more transactions the higher the number of times the inland revenue gets a bit of it. That's why you don't need to raise tax rates to increase revenue.
