Alternative solutions for Northern Ireland that would work even better?
1. Whole of UK rejoins the EU.
2. Whole of UK joins SM and CU.
3. Unification of Ireland and break up of UK.
4. Tell the DUP to behave themselves and get back to Stormont. Sulking about their own cock up.

So glad to hear it loud and clear on BBC news that there is no such thing (and there won't be any such thing) as environment-friendly .
Now the first thing we need to do is outlaw , including charter jets for wealthy people to mess up our planet for fun.

@PaulbernalUK Since it won't satisfy the DUP and the ERG will complain that it isn't good enough for them (because it is a negotiated agreement) it will just remind people that the Tories are still unable to deliver a Brexit that works.

Of course, we used to have an excellent solution to Northern Ireland: no barriers or checks at all, & a Good Friday agreement that had been duly negotiated. But the DUP hate sharing power, hate border-free relations with Ireland, don't they?
The are the barrier.
And .

RT @IanDunt: Doubt this is a useful thing to say, but this is potentially profoundly useful to Remainers. Principles are being established about being in the EU's single market/customs union with veto powers, which could be quite easily expanded to include the whole of the UK.

@earthygirl011 You should be able to ask to pay what you've used instead of their bogus monthly charge. I do that though it's quite hard to get them to do it.

RT @colinrtalbot: Just to repeat, the northern Ireland Protocol is NOT causing political instability in Northern Ireland.

The DUP is causing political instability in Northern Ireland. Because they have always been unhappy with the GFA. And they are losing.

“The deal is done”.

Says Downing St

Translation.

“We’ll abide by the rules outlined in the deal of 2019 after pretending we were going to break the law (in a limited and specific way)

What a criminal waste of time and money.

RT @jonlis1: It is worth repeating at every moment that everything that’s happened in Northern Ireland since Brexit was predicted, and every time the Brexiters said we were lying or scaremongering

@PaulbernalUK Plenty of other kinds of electoral malpractice that are undermining trust in our democracy. This "solution" will only make the loss of trust worse, but they don't want to address the real problems.

RT @PaulbernalUK: A reminder: any ‘solution’ to the Northern Ireland Protocol situation isn’t a triumph. The problem they’re ‘solving’ is entirely of their own making. It’s like setting fire to a house and then claiming to be a hero for putting out the fire in one room, leaving the rest burning.

RT @egwfraser: 🤦‍♂️ It’s so insulting that we’re STILL given media appearances as a ‘smaller’ party.

We have 30x more elected representatives than reform UK, and the other two have none. We are bigger than UKIP were at their peak.

We’ve been here 50 years, please give us the credit we deserve!
