Just look at the difference in costs, and in outcomes, between US and UK systems of health care. Never let them tell you we need to move to that ghastly unfair and ineffective system.

It looks like this pensions issue is aggravating the shortages of key senior professional staff by incentivising early retirement and reduced hours due to the so called pensions tax threshold being frozen. Hence doctor shortages.
