RT @labisiffre: You misinterpret my song "Something Inside So Strong".
's 1st instinct is to lie
(his safe place)
He defines the electorate as "stooges"
I assessed him as not be trusted after seeing him on "Have I Got News For You".
He continues to confirm my assessment as accurate.

@keith_wilson Still the far right trying to wheedle their way into everything. They've learned nothing. Hopefully it will all topple again quite quickly.

Would one want this?
RT @PippaCrerar: NEW: Rishi Sunak wins backing of Kemi Badenoch - a major endorsement from somebody regarded as the rising star of the right of the Tory party.

@Elizabe43492257 Fascinating. The culture wars stuff is there in the rhetoric of the leadership hopefuls and we're only a whisker away from those things (especially the female candidates and ministers, scarily).

RT @Tom___Scott: .@GreenPartyMolly: "We are in a political & economic calamity... Brexit has bankrupted Britain but it has also shone a light on the weaknesses in our political system that Brexiters exploited... But the EU has kept a light on & we will find our way home"

Solve the UK's economic, strategic, energy and internal problems but don't mention or address the actual cause of the problem, but instead pretend that the problem is an opportunity and the good things must be abolished to pay for it.

Socrates points out that if the rules of the game rule out the very terms that are required to provide a successful answer you're setting the candidate up to fail. The UK is currently engaged in a game of that sort with its candidates for prime minister.

In Plato's Republic, Thrasymachus demands that Socrates must give his own definition of justice, but on no account is Socrates to use any concepts such as benefit or advantage.

@karlmccartney People with no shame calling for people with honour and principles to resign. 🙄

@Labour4Republic @iancallaghan @Amelia_Womack @RepublicStaff The constitution could give the monarch the obligation to dissolve parliament and call a general election and appoint an emergency administration in the event that the PM is forced to resign due to lack of support in their own party.

@babyybokchoyy @RichardJMurphy A good PM might resign because a bunch of power hungry MPs made it impossible to run the government. That would be a no confidence vote but not due to being useless or corrupt. Better to say you can't return if found guilty of a crime that is still a crime.

RT @catherinerowett: Three months out of office? That explains why we appeared to be rudderless for months. Actually was it, maybe, three years of "out of office"?

RT @Billbrowder: Very curious story. Son of Russian oligarch (with British passport) was arrested in Norway for flying a drone around a sensitive oil and gas installation. The obvious question is what in the world was he doing that for? telegraph.co.uk/world-news/202

RT @RFleming46: @GeorgeMonbiot @catherinerowett Sometimes feels as if one might be duty bound to get arrested rather than appear complicit with this bunch of right-wing grifters.

RT @RichardJMurphy: Do you believe Boris Johnson is, after his three months out of office, now a reformed, contrite person who is willing to obey rules, tell the truth, honour the law and work hard for the country?
