Did these people have a choice about whether they were put in a picture with a disgraced buffoon who play acts jobs he wouldn't last a day in?
Politicising the police? Workplace bullying?

RT @lewis_goodall: Of course this is itself an argument anchored in so called “identity politics”

Where's his helmet?
And I love the face of the chap on the left. 😂
RT @bmay: It’s just a relentless stream of humiliation and embarrassment, even in the dying embers of his disastrous premiership.

RT @Normanjam671: You can't go to prison for energy debt, but you can for stealing electricity. Be careful this winter.

@bristol_pip @MartinSLewis @NeilLaurenson @trussliz @RishiSunak @itvMLshow Yes, this would be a good idea anyway, even if they do accept. There are loads of people who could do with hearing what other options there are that a sensible government would choose. What would the Greens do? What would the SNP do?

RT @zoenicholson4: I wish I had this list on sunday when on the doorstep someone asked me “why is the Govt not solving this crisis”. Another fantastically simple to understand thread from @TheGreenParty spokesperson @catherinerowett on all things they are doing to make it worse!

It would be nice if the Queen was obliged to vet the candidate and establish whether they had sufficient credibility and morals to hold office in her government. She should give them an oral examination on their scruples (if any) and see if they could pass the citizenship test.
RT @BBCBreaking: Queen will not appoint next UK prime minister in London, but will stay in Balmoral to do it, in a break from tradition, Buckingham Pala…

RT @RaptorPersScot: 72 hen harriers confirmed 'missing' or illegally killed in UK since 2018, most of them on or close to grouse moors.

Not one single prosecution. Ministers remain silent. Natural England claims 'real progress' is being made.

RT @SaulStaniforth: BT have made £1.7bn profit in 15 months & in a single 12 month period they're putting up prices by a whopping 23%. It's not just their workers they're ripping off.

RT @catherinerowett: 4. They allow Ofgem to set the electricity price on the basis of the gas price, so there is no reduction for customers who buy entirely green energy which is cheaper, produced in the UK and not dependent on European gas supplies. Green tariffs could be cut to affordable prices.

RT @chrisjerrey: A timely reminder of how badly the energy cost crisis is being handled.

The most obvious failure is the pricing of electricity from renewables. The cost of renewables is dropping yet the same pricing applies to electricity from all sources. It's a blatant ripoff.

@BremainInSpain @_HenryBolton @MarchForRejoin I think March for rejoin should invite @_HenryBolton to address the march and help explain to the remainers what the Brexit good news is (other than the fact that we now have the strongest European movement of any country).

7. They've allowed standing charges to rise unaffordably (via the system described in tweet 1 ⬆️) so that most customers will be racking up debts even if they turn everything off. This is a recipe for a private debt crisis (and standing charges on prepay meters are a disgrace).

6. They've distributed dribbles of assistance for bills in a way that provides assistance to oil magnates with huge properties in London and double benefit to owners of second homes, and scarcely enables a pre pay meter customer to clear the backlog of unpaid standing charges.

5. They charge VAT on both renewables and fossil fuels. Tax should be used to incentivise good practice and discourage practices that leave us vulnerable to global risks (climate & war). Meanwhile VAT is going through the roof as prices shoot up. VAT should be 0% for renewables.
