You could pause people's debt repayments (because even without deductions the benefit no longer covers your essential costs) or you could increase benefits in line with prices. Which should you do? Which would @TheGreenParty do? Which would Labour do? 🤔

RT @zoenicholson4: Brilliant thread by @catherinerowett only @TheGreenParty policies bring fairness, support those who need it most and tackle the existential we face.

Anger is expressed in great style here.
RT @KernowDamo: For the first time a Labour MP has been sacked for standing in solidarity with workers. Under Keir Starmer no longer is Labour the workers party. On the same day he sacked Sam Tarry, his 10 election pledges were formally scrapped as well. He has to go.

@comptableavelo Even Daily Mail readers deserve to hear the truth, sometimes from somebody. 😢

Turns out the official policy according to Starmer is that workers should have a "fair" wage rise. Apparently it's wrong to interpret that as "workers deserve a rise in line with inflation".
How could it be fair to deny some or all workers pay rises to match rising prices?

Doing it's bit? Or would it waste more in the running of it than it saves? I wonder whether they use the building all week.

Would the world be a better place if there were no "drinks companies"? We honestly don't need fizzy drinks. We don't need water in throwaway containers. Let's just ensure that people have a right to draw water where they live. Zero waste, zero carbon, zero food miles.

The BBC edits quotes from people who support the strikers, trying to make it seem that they don't support the strikers. We can only conclude that they couldn't find *anyone* who genuinely represented the "view" they wanted to promote.

Just imagine being shadow for transport, but not allowed to do media appearances or attend picket lines with transport workers!
@UKLabour seems to have lost the plot!
I'm glad @TheGreenParty allows its spokespeople to support workers. @SamTarry might want to defect?

@ranger1uk @TheGreenParty @bristolgreen I give lots of ethical advice to our current sitting prime minister (who got rid of his official adviser so I reckoned I should stand in for that) and also to the people who are trying to take over from him. None of them ever take my advice. 🤣🤣

@ranger1uk @TheGreenParty @bristolgreen You know who funds the Tories and why? Wouldn't you call that corruption?

This kind of sums it up. Plus pro Europe.
RT @flembot__: @TheGreenParty I joined the Green Party, because their policies align with my principals
- Universal Basic Income
- Electoral reform
- Affordable housing
- Reparations
- Refugee rights
- Decentralisation
- Workers’ rights
- Increased aid
- Anti-austerity
- Anti-corruption
And much more 💚

@accyburner @TheGreenParty Also membership gives you voting rights in the party leadership elections. One day that could mean choosing the prime minister. That'll be the day we reap the reward from your hard work as an activist to get the voters to agree with you and vote for change. ❣️💚💚💚
