First, because the church itself has a tiny energy footprint, its solar panels can feed the wider community, helping the whole village to become less carbon-dependent. It could charge a shared electric vehicle, reduce heating bills for a school, or take some houses off grid.

@Sian_L_S It's two parties now, an extreme right party focused on milking the public purse for private wealth and closing off assistance for the poor and refugees, and a rump of the old fashioned Conservative party. The former is a parasite on the latter, but mocks and undermines it.
