Re @Richard18618097 @june_mummery She's wrong that the Greens aren't vocal on these matters, but we need more members in coastal communities to get politicians elected in those areas to speak for their constituents and get media coverage. You don't hear because the BBC and journalists don't feature Green voices.

It was great speaking to residents in with @catherinerowett and Green County Councillors. Good discussions on the pylons proposal and alternatives, renewables and need for better bus services.
Looking forward to welcoming @GreenJennyJones to our action day this Sunday. n.respublicae.eu/SthNorfolkGre

Re @Bonkers808 @paullewismoney And do you think they'd fall if the levy was removed?
Standing charges are a disgrace and they run counter to what's needed for climate action.

Criminal gangs?
An odd description of the court of human rights that we set up, led by Churchill, to ensure that Europe would never again be scarred with the kind of evil that killed millions who were for some reason not wanted.

It's not clear that the UK is a safe place to deport refugees to.
But Rwanda definitely isn't.
It was a gimmick. Anyone who pinned their electoral chances on such a scheme deserves to be consigned to horrible history.

Re @PaulbernalUK You need to look beyond the present shareholders to identify who took what, when and who’s left holding the husk. Wren House offloaded its shares to USS in 2021, around same time this guy left OMERS to join Wren, he joined OMERS from Goldman Sachs. pensionpulse.blogspot.com/2021

What person with any sense would take a single essential resource like electricity and water and give it to someone else so they could sell it back to them?
Why would anyone buy it if there wasn’t guaranteed profit in it?
Privatisation has never made sense.

The proposed job cuts at @uniofeastanglia came up in house of lords today. Historian Baron Kenneth Morgan: “it’s bad news for a distinguished dept at a good university” Earl of Clancarty called them “shocking” and said were result of “a long term downgrading by govt of arts”. 1/1

Another symptom of the government's disastrous inability to do renewable energy infrastructure properly. And I suppose they are as ignorant of Norfolk and Suffolk as they were about Northern Ireland and Dover when they signed the Brexit withdrawal agreement.

Re @GreenJennyJones @hewitson10 @TheGreenParty @GreenPartyMolly Maybe confiscation and renationalisation of assets instead of fines, for failure to comply with regulations etc, and that would make share prices plummet for all the companies, making it easy to buy up the shares of all of the remaining ones.
