Government is finding Phillip Schofield a very useful distraction to feed to the BBC, to give them some headlines that aren't the ones that incriminate the itself. They'll keep milking it for all it's worth. We should stop playing their game and so should the BBC.

Technically it isn't but it's definitely interfering in the right of Labour members to choose who is an authentic and worthy Labour candidate, and is undermining democracy by using autocratic powers where it's inappropriate to do so.
