@colinwmd @ZoeJardiniere Yes it's tragic. People suppose that with a green minority administration, magically everything will be perfect, and if it's not, they blame the Greens. Even though we all know that the govt has starved councils of funds, restricts what they can do, and made perfect unattainable.

The system is set up to protect oil companies and silence protesters, and force them to target the unprotected individual motorists instead of the real source of our oil dependent, car dependent, society. Which is the power of the oil lobby.
RT @podsavetheuk: Why don't @JustStop_Oil target oil companies instead of the general public? Well, @paulpowlesland has an answer for that very query, dear reader.

RT @redsarah99: Here's @BBCBreaking with the truth about austerity for the only time

(After a 12yrs of lying for @Conservatives)

We are a monetarily sovereign nation.

We cannot go bankrupt.

We do not
"borrow money".

We do not need to "balance the books". t.co/Uwnlh07qoa

@colinwmd @ZoeJardiniere York? Yes only there and Brighton. There's a problem where Labour can find something to campaign against the Greens on. However flimsy and libertarian. No principles.

@colinwmd @ZoeJardiniere Would be even luckier if you were in one of the seats where Green is your best option.

RT @JohnHol32019188: @ZoeJardiniere The left option would be Greens.
The centre-left option would be Lib Dems.
Both are pro-migrant and pro-FOM.
Both want to rejoin EU.
Both tried to stop (unlike Labour) the Illegal Migration, Public Order and Election acts.
Both support the nurses strike, PR, UBI and a wealth tax.

RT @egwfraser: Tories wanted to redraw the boundaries here to boot the one green out, and moved their leader there thinking it was a safe seat.

Not only did they fail, the one green councillor took the leaders’ seat, and brought 7 colleagues with them, now holding the balance of power 🤣🤣🤣 t.co/P1OUt1H6c5

@Penlav2 @Otto_English @Patrici89225734 It had the effect that loads of edible food was discarded at the farm because supermarkets wouldn't buy it. And only selling uniform produce just perpetuated the misconception that a carrot is this shape not that. Calling them wonky helps but why think they're wonky, not normal?

@Otto_English It's not a good thing to fuss about the shape of bananas or any other produce. Wonky veg shouldn't be sold as inferior. The idea that quality is about shape was always the wrong idea. But the correct solution was to change the EU law not leave the EU.

🐦🔗: n.respublicae.eu/catherinerowe

@Otto_English @Patrici89225734 It was nevertheless a bad mistake on the part of the EU to consider that misshapen fruit and veg are class 2. Shape should be completely irrelevant to the judgement of quality. And equally the EU should not be deciding whether fruit is fit only for jam. The seller can advise.

RT @Kevbrown51: @RhonddaBryant Almost every Bill that has been put through parliament over the last few yrs has had clauses enabling secondary legislation to be added later without scrutiny. It was always going to be misused by a corrupt govt. If not this one then another.
Very much Enabling Act 1933 Germany.
