Not doing much of a job, are they?

Meanwhile, situation of people forced into sex work is made more dangerous by outdated laws

@mfraz74 @Nordfolcian @StuartAndrew Not safe. It's too easy to stop someone in your household from voting by throwing away their polling card.

RT @AngryRemainCons: @nazirafzal There is something very scary and sinister about the state removing a person's citizenship with the argument "if you knew what we know."

If they know something, then the correct approach is to bring her home, charge her, and give her a fair trial.

RT @dunlin57: @nazirafzal I totally agree. She was a child when she left which raises huge safeguarding issues. How many other U.K. citizens have had their passport removed? It’s appalling way to treat her.

RT @JolyonMaugham: That Rishi Sunak has downgraded the modest climate change ambitions of the Conservative Party is a disgrace. That the @ChtyCommission forces us to subsidize the 55 Tufton Street climate change liars through our taxes is an outrage. Shame, shame, shame on you.

@Cure2Diane @GreenPartyMolly @TheGreenParty The minimum wage would be set to deliver a living wage on a 32 hour week. That's the point of a reduction in the working week. @TheGreenParty recommends a real living wage (currently a £15 minimum wage) and would adjust it to be achieved in 32 hours.

If MPs always blocked an agreement that one political party with minority support found wasn't wholly to their liking, we'd never get anything done. In fact we wouldn't have a withdrawal agreement at all yet. The DUP doesn't represent the interests of the UK or Northern Ireland.

Gyms and swimming pools? Every swimming pool should have a gym alongside, with fitness equipment set to generate heat for the pool. The wasted energy in gyms makes me cross. If people must do that instead of useful walking and cycling, they could at least drive a dynamo. 😏

Seriously too late, after countless operations and procedures have been delayed by their refusal even to talk. What do we call our government?
RT @soph_husk: BREAKING: Nurses strikes called off as Tory ministers finally agree to hold talks on pay

The Government is FINALLY opening talks on pay after months of refusing to - and after thousands of appointments have been delayed/cancelled due to strikes

RT @PaulbernalUK: There have always been only three options:
1. No border, which requires the SM and CU, hence impossible for Brexiters
2. A land border, impossible for the GFA and peace
3. A sea border, impossible for the DUP

@RegRigsby @BriefcaseMike It's unclear in the article whether all the firms reduced hours. It's supposed to be a reduction in hours from 35 (5x7) to 32 hours (4 x 8). Some studies suggest you get more productivity, or at least as much, by reducing hours.

@ChrisJHutch74 @TheGreenParty Absolutely agree. Mondays are the worst and should be abolished! But in many jobs that aren't just time-wasting, the working week needs to have different days for different people because tasks and duties have to be covered every day by someone!
So sadly, some must work Mondays.

It's always good to have what we already knew confirmed by yet another trial. @TheGreenParty has been promoting and supporting a move to a norm of a (or equivalent) for years.

Most of the companies are continuing with it.

It makes sense. 👍🙄

RT @danielgoyal: What you’re seeing from NHS staff is desperation. A last ditched effort to save the NHS.

Because I can assure you, if these strikes are unsuccessful the exodus of staff will be monumental.
