@pigreen1 Indeed. The idea of *selling* water in *bottles* was unheard of. How on earth did we let things get into this state?

@DavidKennaway @trussliz @Telegraph Yes, they sell fossil fuels here but they don't pay taxes on what they sell here. They pay where they produce it. So our prices are subsidised but the money the UK gives them goes to pay their taxes to other countries. Lovely. 🙄

@TheVikingQueen3 @trussliz @Telegraph I have more of a mandate than Truss. I was elected by a proper democratic system, to serve my constituents for five years, so I am still within the term I was elected to serve.

I'm pleased to see the Tory party going on tearing itself apart. They've now moved on to gaslighting against each other. Truss was our misunderstood saviour from Johnson. Johnson was our misunderstood benign buffoon. Sunak is just one of us, too hard up to give a pay rise.
🙄😁

RT @JohnRowlett4: @SuitSiggy People who aspire to leadership are often those who are least able and least suited to the role. Then, when leadership is required they lack the competence to deal effectively with it.

@DanRealityBites Well it was that notorious left wing neoliberal establishment called the IMF which noticed she'd got no sums and if she'd had sums they'd look like a suicide note. You can't grow an economy that has a labour shortage, low wages, no access to trade and offshores its wealth. 🙄

@trussliz @Telegraph Mandate? What mandate?
Even if we'd voted for you at a G. Election with a manifesto (which no one did) you wouldn't have a mandate to empty the UK's tax income into the pockets of the fossil fuel companies, with no increase in taxation on fossil fuels to complete the circle. 🙄

@BeASeaChanger Yes that's why simple mechanical solutions are better. So many fountains at stations seem to have died already!
Needs to be sand and salt proof at the seaside, but no need for chilling or filtering. Just drinkable water easily accessible! Preferably even if you've got no cup.

Why exactly did @BBCNews lead with delusional declarations of innocence & victimisation from the erstwhile (shortest & most disastrous) prime minister ? Who did no sums before doling out money from treasury coffers to fossil fuel companies in a bottomless promise? Unhinged!

Apply now for funds to get a water fountain for refilling water bottles at seaside places!
(PS we need these everywhere, not just at the coast! And they need to be maintained. Actually can't we just have a tap or press button fountain instead of these electronic devices?)

@Karmageddon67 @PGDynes Vehicles are part of the destruction of their habitats. Introducing a ghastly predator with devastating effects and an insatiable appetite.

RT @PGDynes: Wild animals shouldn’t need to be “rescued”. The fact that so many are being “rescued” means their homes are being destroyed. Maybe stop destroying their habitats.
