Energy bills are high because of the cost of gas.

Bills are high because we don't have ENOUGH renewables.

Because the government *failed* to invest in green initiatives. Which are CHEAP and getting cheaper.

Not because it did.

@ElliotElinor @Sillyshib If there were protections for long term renters, Landlords would evict people before they became "long term" however that was defined. We need decent length leases for everyone, and more social housing to provide permanent homes for those who will never buy a house.

@KnowUr_Rights We need to teach humanities from the perspective of the oppressed and the victims. We need films, TV programmes and songs that reverse the attitudes, to instil compassion not prejudice, empathy not self-righteousness. We need philosophy and Christianity properly understood.

It is unacceptable that in the UK workers are still facing #racism in the workplace. Changing the law is not the solution (we have laws and procedures). What's needed is a culture of empathy and kindness.
