@Isawhitney2 @garethn @greenmattbfd Most cyclists are also drivers and vice versa now, but with extra obstacles to cycling most drivers will never have ridden a bike. It's well known that places with lots of cyclists are much safer because everyone drives in a quite different way and cycles have priority on roads.

And when cyclists are less numerous, drivers are less prepared, less familiar with how to give them the space they need. The drivers kill more of the cyclists even though there are fewer of them.

@TheologyRhys It's not just red tape regulations. We also warned that supplies of water treatment chemicals come from the continent. Water companies have to buy stuff to treat the sewage. When the supply chains are disrupted from the EU, why bother? It's cheaper to put it in the river.
