@girlonabrompton The precise number isn't the issue. Probably putting it to a random 160k citizens would produce an OK outcome. But instead the power lies with an unrepresentative bunch of privileged white older people whose picture of a happy country was formed when they were 6.

Working to contract is not an "unofficial strike". When workers get together in a union and decide not to take voluntary extra work, that's not "unions forcing workers" to have their rest days. That's workers choosing not to comply with the wishes of the employers.
