Well there's a surprise. I wonder whether it would be possible for the council to make an effort to ensure that in future roadworks are approved only after a route through for cyclists has been facilitated? Norwich is horrendously disrupted for cyclists at present.

Base 12 is, of course, quite a lot more useful and versatile than base 10. Base 16 is also better than 10 and 20 is a little better than 10. Base 60 is also good and widely used for time and rotation. Why we measure months in 30 or 31, I have no idea. 28 is better.

@lizmallard Since the USA measures are different, it's actually really confusing. I prefer imperial for cooking, body weights and length/distances (it's no accident that they have better unit sizes) but as long as you have scales and rulers that do both that's not a problem.
