RT @SiOldridge: 6. The obvious thing to do when prices go up is to avoid waste. But Cameron proudly 'Cut the Green Crap' in 2013, only benefiting oil companies & Putin.
If insulation rates had continued at a similar pace, around 18 million homes would now be way cheaper to heat.

A year on, not one person has been relocated from Afghanistan under the scheme

RT @torydemolition: Remember this...The EU procurement process would have prevented the £7bn Tory PPE fraud and the £37bn "test and trace" failure. This profiteering, corruption and fraud was only possible because of Brexit. Does start to make sense now? 🤔

RT @mikegalsworthy: Actually - it’s been copied around the world. It is essentially *the* model that took hold (universal healthcare, free at point of use) after WWII, esp in Europe. The US healthcare system is an outlier.

The last bit of his sentence answers the question for us. Tories see the removal of Human Rights Act as a mechanism to downgrade all our rights, to send Britain back to the Victorian era.

Just look at the difference in costs, and in outcomes, between US and UK systems of health care. Never let them tell you we need to move to that ghastly unfair and ineffective system.
