UK "global" health card 🤣
Another bit of the Brexit fraud. A replacement health card that gives less coverage than the "European" one and calls itself "global".

RT @premnsikka: Magic Money Tree.

UK govt hands £5bn to BT for broadband provision.

BT will keep the resulting assets & income streams.

I asked the govt why it did not insist that in return BT must provide free broadband to poor/vulnerable households.

Watch rubbish answer from the Minister.

If only their UK Labour colleagues were allowed to agree 😕
But their old @GreensEFA colleagues do agree.
RT @TheProgressives: On the anniversary of Brexit, we’re clear that leaving the EU was a mistake. We miss our Labour colleagues and the UK’s contribution to our Union.

We’re convinced that a closer partnership than we currently have would be a huge step forward for the UK.

This wouldn't look like this if we'd elected Greens to govt in 2019. The same news bulletin noted that green initiatives and net zero action have benefited left-behind bits of the UK. Our economy's in the doldrums. It's partly Brexit & Truss, but also failure to end fossil fuels.
RT @GreenPartyMolly: UK is the only major economy predicted to decline this year

From Brexit to the mini-budget, the Tories have been a disaster for our economy

Yes it's not unusual for very wealthy people to conceal their wealth from the tax man.
So as not to contribute from their surplus.
While still enjoying the services & protections provided from tax paid by honest workers with little to spare and a lower CO2 print.
It's disgusting.
RT @SaulStaniforth: "Its not unusual for very wealthy people to minimise their tax and sometimes they can be very creative and they run up against HMRC and they have a ding dong about it"…
