@catherinerowett Plastics are used the make textiles, furnishings and our clothing. Also paints, adhesives, insulation buildings and vehicles. We can’t imagine a world without plastic. I went to a lecture by a UEA prof re. micro/nanoplastic pollution. It’s a serious global problem which seems impossible to address. For example our car tyres degrade into tiny particles that we all ingest as we live our lives. When we wash our clothes micro plastics are released into the drains
