If the govt was really serious about #VAWG then they would be implementing prevention and education measures. No funding for any of this. Just sweeping up after the mess. Support orgs overwhelmed and underfunded. Workers exhausted. Tougher sentences will do nothing to help.

Brexit brought me and many of my colleagues into the Lib Dems.
Looking to the future now, not the past and fighting for a better one - particularly for those worst hit by austerity

A Torbay consultant recently told me she’d be surprised if they could last another winter. Colleagues preparing CVs.
