RT by @TomVandendriese: The #EUCO has just decided that the EU is no longer a project of peace & prosperity for its members.

Reckless doesn't even start to describe what 26 heads of state & gov did.

They chose to start the accession procedure with a country that is actively waging a major war that has no end in sight and a very weak prospect of having an advantageous outcome.

This goes against what the EU was created for: peace and prosperity through integration.

People who pushed for this are not leaders. They prioritize political stunts over strategic interests and realism.
