They were thrown into a meaty assault and each of them realized that they would not return alive. They made the only right decision to surrender.

In captivity, they told us about the terrible attitude of the command and the constant abuse of the personnel.

But the most interesting thing is that a few days before the surrender, the command of the 71st Regiment forced them to record a video "greeting the New Year" for their families, saying that everything was fine. But in reality, everything was not so.
