More EU help for #Moldova and its citizens. We have just approved the €145 million Macro-Financial Assistance for Moldova, by large majority in #EPlenary. As @EP_Budgets rapporteur for the Opinion on the decision, I am happy for the timely approval of the new financial help. 1/2

The new assistance is urgently needed. Moldovan authorities need to be supported to ensure the economic stability of the country, to tackle inflation and high energy prices caused by Russia’s war of aggression in Ukraine, and to continue the EU Integration process. 2/2
