@JoeWStanley I think we need to start with a national land use strategy out of which flows a food plan, a biomass plan, a biodiversity plan and an active, healthy leisure plan.

@ROCKWOOLGroup Did you know Rockwool has a much higher level of embodied carbon than nature based equivalents eg wood fibre?

The UK government is considering lifting the blocks on new wind power. I’ve told them to get on with it and make sure we have the clean, cheap energy we need. Please will you do the same with @_wearepossible's tool? action.wearepossible.org/page/

Good news.
Using nature based materials such as wood will help new builds comply with the limit value.

@ConcreteOntario The main thing to understand is that concrete is responsible for 8% of global carbon emissions hence we should endeavour to use as little of it as possible.

@ROCKWOOLGroup Are you any closer to printing the amount of embodied carbon contained in your insulation products on the packaging? How can customers make an informed choice of you don't do this?

@victoriasaxecob @ITVNewsPolitics In 2018, there was no evidence of large-scale electoral fraud.
Of the 266 cases that were investigated by the police, one led to a conviction, and two suspects accepted police cautions. electoralcommission.org.uk/who

@ITVNewsPolitics The answer is simple. The Tories know they've very little support amongst young people hence they are quite happy if the young end up being unable to vote. Whereas plenty of old people still willing to vote Tory hence an Older Persons' Bus Pass is ok, see ukonward.com/data/age-profie-v

RT @BainbridgeFarms: ...after watching Sir Keir Starmers address at the NFU conference, I think the Labour Party could well get my vote at the next general election. The Conservatives have in my eyes, turned their back on rural Britain and its rural communities 😢

RT @ASButlerDevon1: Sir Keir Starmer talks very sensibly about needing to use our land wisely for food, environment and energy. Labour govt will submit to min 50% british food

🐦🔗: n.respublicae.eu/PaulBrannenNE

@RachaelOwensArc Yes we do! As we drive down carbon emissions from running buildings (heating & cooling) it becomes more obvious just how big the emissions are from making the buildings in the first place ie embodied carbon.

RT @Keir_Starmer: Britain’s support for Ukraine does not waver.

Ukraine must receive proper reparations and a proper rebuilding of its country.

Labour will always stand with Ukraine to achieve this goal.

RT @DrSimEvans: It would be helpful if climate sceptic commentators learned – just a little – about the UK's rapidly evolving electricity sector, before writing hand-wringing articles about how it's going to hell in a handcart

(Obv I'm not so naive as to believe this will happen)
